Leanne Sheth - Process Critique Reflection
Today in class, I presented my idea and received feedback. Since I had difficulties gathering materials, I could not prepare an experimental video. However, the class was still able to offer me helpful criticism on my concept. Everyone seemed to grasp my idea of gender identity in my future work, and suggested different ways for me to represent the idea in my work. Contrary to what the guest critique advised me, the class liked the idea of the house collapsing at the end of the video, and thought the hands were ample representation of a feminine force. I was advised to evolve the items used in the piece, from blankets to razors etc.
