I am exploring my identity in the context of devotion and the expression of prayer. My expression of wordless prayer is inspired by Jewish songs of devotion that I was raised with. I am exploring this with my spiritual partner with whom I am recording conversations that we have about spirituality. We regularly chant together and vocalize our emotions. We are interested in the process of death, attention, and compassion.
