project 3 statement
This project became very experimental. Playing with the idea of male mating calls originally, I took that concept and ran with it. Turning it into what I would describe as sex in a dark hell dimension, creating an unsettling atmosphere of moans, squishes, and mooing. I included more sounds from humans such as wheezing, cheering, and sex noises that have been modified to make the most lovely and terrifying string instrument. I am very curious to see how it will be received. I would hope the listener felt un-at-ease and perplexed. At times I think sexual urges and tendencies are some of the most absurd and awkward moments of our inner thoughts; this sound project hopefully reflects that.
