Time Map Discussion Response
My sketchy piece was almost considered somewhat of a surreal artwork, with various objects representing different symbolic aspects of my day. The line quality makes it seem like a spur of the moment drawing, and is indicative of the forgetfulness of an average day. The objects represent either a thought or an actual object I felt or saw throughout the day, but this is unknown to those who view the piece, making it more personal and adds to the purported surreal quality of the drawing. These observations made me look more at the piece and realize how dull and somewhat sad everything is... Almost everything I drew had a negative emotion attached to it, except for a couple hope spots.
