For this project, I plan to make an
animation based on the idea of gluttony, the difficulties of eating healthy on
a budget, and the appeal (but danger) of typical snack foods.
My first proposed setting will be a
dirty and messy pantry, and because this will be a tight space, I will be
mostly limited to using close-ups and limited angles. I will try to remedy this
by making small changes in the angle and switching subjects multiple times. The
first storyboard features a scene in which all the snacks are bent on removing
healthier snacks (i.e. fiber bar) from the equation. A gang of junk food pushes
the healthy snack off the shelf, it breaks on the ground, and other snacks
begin to eat it. Not satisfied, the snacks begin to eat each other.
My second proposed setting is a
refrigerator, where at first shot we see fruits and vegetables dancing
together. They are interrupted by a gang of sodas and fatty foods (i.e. bacon,
hot dog), who after harassing, begin to beat up the fruits and veggies,
smashing them and throwing them out. The gang then turns on each other,
smashing each other up and eating each other.
